Have faith, you will make it

Faith it till you make it "Fake it till you make" was my go-to word and action while I was doing my post-graduate studies. For those that don't know what this means it is simply the act of imitating confidence, competence, and an optimistic mindset until you achieve your goals even when everything is not going your way. Basically, you may be discouraged on the inside about a situation but you act as though you are positive about it on the outside. For science lovers, this act is actually based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). But since we are Christians, I decided to title it faith it till you make it because I realize that faking it keeps us limited at our own abilities. But when you “faith it”, you will assuredly make it! Mark 11:23-23 (TLB) In reply Jesus said to the disciples, “ If you only have faith in God —this is the absolute truth—you can say to this Mount of Olives, ‘Rise up and fall into the Mediterranean,’ and your command will be obeyed. Jesus wants to hear your voice: praying in your understanding

Hello everyone, thank you so much for clicking on my link. You are highly blessed and favored in Jesus name. Amen. So yes, I will ask you to subscribe, again and again, please click that button up there. Please and Thank you.  Welcome back to my blog this week where I will be talking about prayers. And yes like my graphic work for this week tells, Jesus wants to hear your voice. Relax, read and enjoy. So what does prayer mean to you? To me, prayer is communicating with God and God talking back to me. It has never been and will never be a one-sided conversation ( Hebrews 1:1-2 ). I believe you can talk to God about everything, even things that may seem “out of his jurisdiction”. What do I mean by out of his jurisdiction? Quick story: When I was a little girl my father taught us a lot about prayers and I always got annoyed because I believed my issues were not things to bother God about. I clearly remember reporting my mum to my dad when I was 7 years old and he said: “go on your

God’s love: Personal testimonies

Happy valentine’s day!!!! It’s the day where the whole world celebrates love and one of the most interesting days in the year. I for one have never been a fan of Valentine’s day, I think wearing red today is cringe-worthy. Don’t mind me, if you love to wear red on Val’s day please do so. If you have not subscribed to my blog yet, what are you waiting for?👀👀 Click the subscribe button above👆👆👆 before I start judging you. Thank you. So for today’s post, the Holy Spirit inspired me to reach out to people and ask for their personal testimonies on how the love of God has helped them in life. Reading the entries that came in, I was blessed and I believed you will be blessed as well. God has loved us first before we even knew he existed. His love is greater than the love of anybody or anything. So I sent this message to people: “Hey dear, how are you? I’m reaching out to you because I’m writing about the love of God and sharing personal testimonies for my blog this week. E

How to be squad goals; Christian friendships

How to be squad goals As a young girl or boy, we all got this advice when we were going to boarding school or university. “Look for the smartest girl in your class and make her your friend”,  along  with this advice we also got a lot of people telling us what to look for in a friend but I’ve hardly heard anyone talk about what to be as a friend. So we all keep searching for someone that is kind, loyal, caring, compassionate and the whole bunch when we remain a basic human being. Why should someone who has so many wonderful qualities be friends with a basic  person?  So when our basicness attracts other basic people and they mess up we begin to make noise about bad friends and whatnot. Let’s take a minute to reflect, Are you a good friend?  We all have friends for different seasons and phases in life. We all start off in the same place but eventually some get married, some have kids, some relocate and this begins to signal an end to the friendship. The good thing is the
