Love covers a multitude of sin

Love covers a multitude of sin By  Bibi Babatunde-Ikotun  and  Oluwatoyosi Adegunle  Thank you for showing interest in knowing about love. Sincerely glad you're here! In the past weeks, we've been exposing you to different aspects of love, because the love of God is wide, deep, interesting and strong that you can't entirely understand it in a day, week or month, but by constantly learning from God, the scriptures, and great channels like this.  We covered many aspects of love for believers of Jesus Christ. We started with  Love is nature, not a feeling or a decision  to show that feelings are fickle and our minds can change. Then we talked about Is God's love truly enough which broke down a lot of misconceptions about God's love towards the world, then last week we discussed t he opposite of Love is fear, not hate  to show us that hatred is a fruit of fear. 1 Peter 4:8 (AMPC)  Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for lo

The opposite of Love is fear, not hate

The opposite of Love is fear, not hate By Oluwatoyosi Adegunle  Edited by Bibi Babatunde-Ikotun  Can we ever truly understand how love really works? I mean, it is so huge, deep and wide, you have to rely on God to fully understand it and be able to live it. The beauty of having a relationship with God is that you learn every day and you’re able to have a full-on conversation with God about anything. An exciting journey, if you ask me!  As big as love is, there’s only one side to its perfection, God! God is love and with love, he births all the beautiful things you see, with love, he created you, your colleague, your ex-boyfriend or girlfriend, your boss, your friends, your parents, your classmate and every single person you know on earth. Love is the foundation of our salvation, what else could make a man die for you? Nothing but love!  It is a sweet experience to be able to love Jesus and his people. Romans 5:8 (NIV) But God demonstrates his own love for us in thi

Is God's love truly enough?

Is God's love truly enough? by Bibi Babatunde-Ikotun It's the month of love and I'll like to talk to you about love. If you follow me on social media, you'd know that I'm a big advocate of showing love to people even when they are undeserving because we've been enabled as believers. This may be helpful fo whatever situation you're in or just serve as an encouragement in your daily struggles. I pray that you continue to yield to the Holy Spirit. The greatest show of love ever recorded in the world is the crucifixion of Jesus. I know it isn't an easter period where everyone chooses to deliver a powerful message about the cross. However, I just want to talk to you about God's love toward you and how it can impact everything that concerns you. Here are some of my thoughts on the love to God to the believer, the unbeliever and pretty much anybody curious about God's love.  Being bad is the qualification for God's love Romans 5:

Love is not a Feeling, Love is not a Choice, Love is our nature as believers

Love is not a feeling, Love is not a Choice, Love is our nature as believers By Oluwatoyosi Adegunle  Edited by Bibi Babatunde-Ikotun  I recently had a conversation with an older friend talking about how love is not enough to make any relationship work. He walked me through the scriptures and days of the old experiences where our mothers and fathers have shown us that love is their very nature, and there is no other way to build any relationship in life but to love. I asked him “what about commitment, understanding, trust? Shouldn’t I have all of these alongside love to make a relationship work?” and he said, “if you truly love them, with the love of God, then, it is enough to make it work”. Life experiences, human relations, books, personal upbringing and movies have truly influenced our perspective of love and subconsciously taught us how to love, when to love, and who to love based on false judgments. The devil never gets tired of bringing up false ways and narrat
