About me

Hello there,

I see you are interested in learning more about me. Come right in.

My name is Bidemi Babatunde-Ikotun but everyone calls me Bibi. I am a Nigerian Christ-amplifying and lifestyle blogger based in Ontario, Canada. I'm happily married to a wonderful man of God whom I co-pastor a vibrant fast-growing church called The StandPoint Church Canada in Oakville, Ontario.

I work as a  fundraising professional at a national charity which helps new immigrants in Canada achieve Career Success.

People say I light up every room so I like to think of myself as a burst of sunshine. I love food, I'm a very happy child of God and I'm not ashamed to say I have been saved by grace. Also, I don't condone any form of misogyny.

I love to talk about how much God loves everybody. Most of my posts will involve telling people that  God is not angry with them. I also enjoy debunking the notion that paints God as the big man up there that grants your wishes and smashes you with a hammer when you mess up. God is an ever-loving father, his love is so fierce and thick. I am convinced that he is not angry with you, he doesn't care about anything you may have done in the past. All he needs is for you to accept his love. There is nothing you may have done or will do that can take his love away from you.

Are you looking to develop intimacy with God? You are in the right place!

Are you looking to learn how to lead your friends and family to Jesus? Come right in!

Are you looking to hear about how everyone in Christ will absolutely go to heaven? Make yourself at home!

Please feel free to email me at any time if you'd love to hear about the reckless love of Jesus or if you'd like me to discuss any topic through the lens of the love of God.

I am available on social media. Check me out on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

You can subscribe to my newsletter here.

Thank you for being here, you are amazing!

Quick words of Affirmation before you leave:

Please, say these words out loud:
  • God is not angry with me
  • Jesus loves me
  • There is nothing that can ever separate me from the love of God
  • I am righteous because I am in Christ
  • I have been blessed with all spiritual blessings
  • The power of life and death is in my tongue, therefore, I speak life every time
  • I have the power of the Holy Spirit in me, therefore, I live a life of unlimited possibilities
  • The love of God has been poured into my heart, therefore, I can have a cordial relationship with all people
  • I am the apple of God's eyes
  • I have all it takes to live the life of an overcomer because I am in Christ.
With love so big,
Bibi

What does it mean to be complete in Christ?

What does it mean to be complete in Christ? When you look at yourself, what do you see? Do you see someone who is imperfect and lacking in many areas? Do you sometimes find yourself thinking these thoughts? God is angry with me. I’m too dirty and damaged for Him to accept me. Why would God want to be with me when I’m a hot mess. Let me give you a secret, it doesn't matter how you feel or what you think. All that matters is what God has said in His word. His word says you are Complete in Christ! You are whole! Nothing missing, nothing lost, nothing broken! This is not by your deeds or something you are on your own. This is because you're in Christ!  Are you in Christ? Colossians 2:9-10 (NKJV) For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead [a]bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all [b]principality and power. Colossians 2:9-10 (TPT) For he is the complete fullness of deity living in human form. 10 And our own completeness is now found in him . We are co

Do’s and Don’ts of a spiritual fast

Do’s and Don’ts of a spiritual fast  By Bibi Babatunde-Ikotun Hello, welcome to my blog. If you clicked on this link it’s either you’re fasting already or are planning to fast. The good thing is you’re planning to have an effective fast by seeking all the information you can get on this. I won’t waste much of your time and I’ll get into it. Don’ts of fasting -  Have a Transactional mindset : A long time ago I thought fasting was about doing something so God will bless you. This led to a string of disappointment because I never got what I wanted from him. After all, I deprived myself for God but He didn’t do his part. We must first understand that fasting is not to move God, it’s to help us align with the move he’s made. The bible says in Ephesians 1.3 (NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. God is always on our side, we need not deal with him on a transaction basis. We fast to tra

Smart money woman; personal finance tips

Smart money woman; personal finance tips The Smart Money woman series was really interesting, you should check it out on Netflix . After watching it, I got inspired to share these 5 personal finance tips. When it comes to money many people are going with the flow. But it requires intentionality, we must steward everything God has blessed us with.  I covered giving cheerfully but prudently, retirement funds, and many more.  I don't know all things personal finance but I believe that I am a smart money woman. I hope this helps you in your journey to financial freedom.  Proverbs 13.22a A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,  With love, Bibi
