How can I control my tongue?

How can I control my tongue?
Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. I talk about faith in Christ and how to live a life of dominion over all things. Thank you so much for being here, I appreciate you. So on September 20th, my blog will be 1-year-old. Oh my goodness, it is unbelievable, right? Yes, I know! One whole year of weekly blog posts, I think I am ready to be an author. If I can write 53 different topics, I can write anything through Christ who strengthens me. To celebrate the one-year anniversary, I will be hosting a giveaway. If you have any ideas of people I can collaborate with to make this giveaway successful, please leave a comment below. I love you and I look forward to a greater dimension of sharing the gospel.
So as you can tell by the topic, I am talking your tongue. Yes, that small part of your body that is capable of causing world wars, damaging lives and causing havoc. We shall be looking at different scriptures today to help put into perspective the importance of …

Choose to know nobody by the flesh

Choose to know nobody by the flesh
Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Thank you so much for being an avid reader of my posts. I love you and I pray that your heart will be saturated with the love of God, that no situation will move or sway you in Jesus name. Last week, I talked about Meditation. If you haven’t checked it out, please do so. Today, I am talking about choosing to see people especially fellow believers the way Christ sees them. Please read, leave a comment and share with friends. God bless you as you do so in Jesus Name, Amen.
There is a way in which believers ought to look at each other, through the lens of the truth who is Christ. You’ve been saved by grace, nothing you did could have gotten you salvation. This grace should also extend to the way in which we view other people. We have received the mind of Christ, we ought to start using that mind in our day to day lives. The person you are looking at and judging because of maybe their outfit or language is part of t…

Should a Christian meditate?

Should a Christian meditate?
Hi everyone, I hope your week has been going really well. Welcome back to my blog, I love and appreciate you. Thank you so much for clicking my link, I pray that all your expectations will begin to manifest really soon in Jesus Name, Amen. So last week, I talked about how we all should keep on praying. This week’s post is a follow up to prayer. Please read, share, and comment. God bless you as you do so in Jesus name, Amen.
Joshua 1:8 (NIV): Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Someone once said, “Prayer is talking to God while meditation is hearing from God”. As a believer, we can’t keep having a one-way discussion with God through prayers. You can’t keep pouring your heart, your soul, all your burdens on him without learning how to hear from Him. It is in meditation you hear back from God concerning everything you h…

Keep on praying

Keep on praying
Firstly, I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone that wish me Happy Birthday and said a prayer for me. I love you from the bottom of my heart and I pray that all your expectations will begin to manifest in Jesus Name, Amen.
I strongly believe that as a believer, our life should be constantly led by prayers. All throughout the day, we have to keep talking to God. I love the way The Passion Translation (TPT) states the scripture below:
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (TPT) Make your life a prayer.
Prayer is the key just like that song we learnt as children. Prayer is communicating with God, the Holy Spirit or Jesus. Whoever is your go-to person of the trinity. As a believer, you have to pray. There is absolutely no excuse to not praying daily. Whether you choose to pray in tongues or pray in your understanding, you just have to pray!
God is in love with you and He wants to be one of the first people you talk to in the morning before you go to bed even those minutes of idlen…

Toxic relationships (Story time)

Toxic relationships (Storytime)
Let me first start by saying happy new month! It is my birth month and I am so excited to be turning 25. Please say a prayer for me as I celebrate a quarter of a decade on earth on August 4. God bless you all richly. I did a poll on social media asking if I should do a post on toxic relationships and 86% said yes, 0% said no and 14% said they really don’t care. I appreciate your honesty if you are reading this God bless you.
So where do I start from? Remember my storytime about how I go my battle scars? I talked about how being in a phase of low self-esteem led me to a place of dating someone that was wrong for me. You can find this post here. What does a toxic relationship mean?  I found this definition here.
A toxic relationship is a relationship characterized by behaviours on the part of the toxic partner that are emotionally and, not infrequently, physically damaging to their partner. While a healthy relationship contributes to our self-esteem and e…
