Make up inflencers to follow on snapchat

If you are like me that loves to spend hours watching beauty experts and artists do their thing on the internet and youtube you will definitely love their snaps more. You get to know them more, get to know products they use in a more detailed manner, get to see their pets, see them without makeup ( they all have beautiful skin) get the first scoop on makeup looks going up on their youtube channel and personal site. The list of what you get to see is not exhaustive.
My top 10 in no particular is

1. Makeup Shayla: Shayla is known for her perfect highlight, contour, slick laid edges and curvy body. She is a very fun person to follow on snapchat. Her #shaylataughtme sessions are very helpful. If you don't know what that is, it is basically her teaching ladies different tips for picture poses. She has a very active lifestyle. Her work out snaps serve as a form of motivation for me to hit the gym on my laziest day. Finally, she has the cutest french bulldog ever name King Titus. Add her up, it's makeupshayla.

2. Nikkie tutorials: Nikkie is the sweetest person I don't know or have never met before. She is known for her incredible transformation techniques using makeup. This lady can make you look 10 pounds skinnier with makeup. Her wing eyeliner and brows are to die for. I love watching her snaps because she gives sneak peeks into her youtube videos. She is very good at floral arrangements and girl is obsessed with good and fancy lighting. She travels a lot and I get to see the world from her snaps. Her dog Ivy is a very cute dog, she looks like a stuffed animal. Add her up, it's nikkietutorials.

3. Jennie Jenkins popularly known as beauty by JJ: Jennie is popularly for her makeup skills and her haul and lookbook videos. She is on the reserved and sweet side. I can't get over her British accent tho. She posts a lot of snaps on outfit advice and hauls. Add her up, it's  itsjenkins

4.  Desi Perkins: Desi is popularly known for her flawless skin, incredible eye makeup and finally her out of the box Halloween makeup looks. She almost had me drinking a skinny caramel macchiato from Starbucks, LOL. She is a very happy and fun loving person from her snaps. She also posts products that she uses in details. Add her up, it's desiperkins.

Feminism is for everybody!

I have interacted with many women who don’t identify as feminist. Then I go on with the conversation and realize they are actually feminists. I don’t blame their choice not to identify with feminism because the word often depicts bitter, man-hating, and lonely unbelievers. I had to add unbelievers because many Christian women think feminism is not their concern and christian men think its a sin because God said the man is the head of the home, the keyword being home not the world. You can be the president and still submit to your husband, feminism is not saying you should not. In fact, submission comes from a place of inner strength and power. A person that isn’t strong can’t submit, simple!
First, let’s see some definitions of feminism: The advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexesThe theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexesThe belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunitiesThe doctrine advocating social, …

Men are Scum: The godly man guide to not being a scum
Last week, I watched Larry Charles' dangerous world of comedy on Netflix and the third episode focused on sexism.  It turns out that Nigeria's comedy industry thrives on sexists jokes that objectify women, normalise rape and encourage the exploitation of women. It was one of the most disgusting things I have ever watched. It's interesting that many think rape is a thing to joke about and the audience laughs at those vile jokes that involve victim blaming. Sexism is broadly seen in our society from the blue collar workers to the board room bosses, from Nollywood movies to product commercials. It is so deeply embedded in our subconscious that we don’t intend to hurt women with our words or actions, it is just a thing of a "normal thing". The truth is I am not trying to vilify anyone. The average man was dealt sexism as a part of being in this present day society. The good thing is you can unlearn all of these thin…

Story Time: How I got my battle scars (Part 1)

Story Time: How I got my battle scars Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog. I know many of you that have seen me in real life or have seen my pictures have questions about my scars. I'd have questions too if I was in your shoes. To note, putting myself out there like this is new to me but I believe my story will bless and inspire someone. It is a story of victory, deliverance, overcoming tragedy and experiencing God’s intentional love.

Romans 8:28 (TPT) So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God's perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfil his designed purpose.

On the 24th of March, 2012 my life changed forever. As the secretary of the History and International Studies student association at Babcock University (2012), I was part of the planning process for the annual departmental field trip. I woke up bright and early ready to face a wonderful and impactful day planned f…
