Periorbital dark circles  are dark under eye circles that most women have including myself. it could be very embarrassing cause it makes your face uneven. I would quickly run over the causes then give tips on how to reduce it. The causes ranges from inadequate sleep, nasal congestion, stress, thinning from aging , you might even inherit it from your ancestors. Dark eye circles are very common amongst Africans and Asian people. It could even be shadows being thrown on your face by your natural facial features.*LOL* The focus of this post is not the causes but the solutions. So I ask, What can get rid of this dark circles that isn’t harmful. Firstly, always get your beauty sleep. Those hours we spend watching YouTube videos or late night movies aren’t worth skin irregularities. When you don’t sleep well, you start to look pale, thus leaving you with dark circles. Every night get at least 7-9 hours of sleep, it would refresh you and make you feel younger and mo...

Feel your boobies; it's October.

Photo courtesy: http://bluestockingsmag.com Hey everyone,  it's breast cancer awareness month. October is the month when everyone puts an effort to create awareness and reduce the stigma associated with breast cancer. This awareness is done through educating the public via whatever platforms about the causes, symptoms, and treatment of the disease. In the spirit of raising awareness, I have decided to cull an article on self breast  examination from breastcancer.org . Enjoy. Step 1: Begin by looking at your breasts in the mirror with your shoulders straight and your arms on your hips. Here's what you should look for: A) Breasts that are their usual size, shape, and color B) Breasts that are evenly shaped without visible distortion or swelling. If you see any of the following changes, bring them to your doctor's attention: Dimpling, puckering, or bulging of the skin A nipple that has changed position or an inverted nipple (pushed inward instead of stic...

Living my life

At this point in my life, I have a billion things on my mind. Am sure a couple of us would be able to relate to me. My NYSC is almost over *whoop* and I just feel like I grew up too fast. Working with adults also makes me think like them, act like them even insult them. It's all surreal. I'm a GROWN WOMAN *in Beyoncé's voice*. I have taken the time to write my bucket list, but that's not what this is about. This is about what I plan on doing to remind me that there's that chubby kid in me; my favorites places to go, people I stalk*Just Kidding *, and just everything that we can do to savor every beautiful moment and time we have before we grow up and have kids and our lives are over. I love to eat healthy as much as I can and I also consider myself a hedonist. So how do I indulge in my guilty pleasure and not feel guilty afterwards? SWEET KIWI, admiralty way, Lekki phase 1, Lagos. If you live in Lagos, this is certainly a place to visit. I call it my guilt-fr...

B'Haram has claimed responsibility and this is what their leader. "God instructed me to sell them, they are his properties and I will carry out his instructions," he said. This statement has caused several responses on social media with trending hashtags like #realmendontbuygirls. B'Haram has released a new video claiming to show the missing N...
